About
Hi! I'm Danielle!
I'm a Registered Nurse who has worked in public health across Canada for the last 10 years. Before working in public health, I worked in dermatology, where we saw the most stubborn head lice cases.
I believe that sometimes, you need extra guidance and a nurse's touch. That's why I started my business, Expert RN Lice Management, which I 100% own and operate. We currently are open for business in Halton Region and will be expanding our services area into the GTA very soon!
Head lice can be one of the most frustrating yet harmless childhood ailments that a kid can go through! I remember struggling with head lice myself as a kid! It was so embarrassing and isolating.
As a Registered Nurse, I have seen first-hand how harmful, bad advice, and unregulated “lice treatments” truly are, and how they take financial advantage of families who are desperate to get rid of lice. Sometimes you just need a nurse to walk you through it all, and that’s what I’m here to do! My business is 100% owned and operated by me, an Ontario Registered Nurse.
I have supported hundreds of families through successful, medically-proven, and a very cost effective lice treatment called Wet Combing. We also offer medicated treatments for those who need them. All of our treatment services include the products that you will need for the entire course of treatment-- we want to set you up for success! And we're happy to help with as much of the combing as you'd like.
Many of the “lice killing” products are not studied thoroughly before they hit the market. Products that are unregulated, and that contain essential oils (yes, including tea tree oil) and harsh chemicals can cause serious damage to the hair, skin, eyes, and scalp, especially in kids! A 20 minute consultation with us could save you hundreds of dollars.
This is a judgment free zone! I’ve been there myself, that’s why I started offering these services to others who are struggling with getting rid of lice for good! I was referred to a dermatologist (yes, I had to go to the dermatology office to be seen for lice…so embarrassing!). It took almost a year of failed treatments and expensive ineffective products to finally get the answers that I needed (spoiler alert- the answer was wet combing!)
I myself am neurodivergent and experience sensory issues. I welcome everyone to get in touch if you’re struggling with head lice! I have years of experience working with those of all ages who have special needs and am always happy to accommodate as much as I can to make sure that my clients are comfortable every step of the way. Since we're RNs, we can also accommodate those with complex health conditions.
If you or your family is struggling with lice, look no further! Get in touch with us today and save your money!
